Chicken farms are notorious for harbouring rats, the constant supply of feed hinders the poison from working.
We provide a service that controls the perimeter of the sheds and when the birds go out, usually every eighteen months we enter the buildings and do a mass clear up, leaving the place a much more pleasant and safer environment to work in.
We can arrange a team with 24 hours notice and we will have a devastating affect on the numbers. A rat infestation can cause tremendous and expensive bale damage to a farm.
When called in we will perform an initial assessment of your property before returning with our trained terriers. We expect to despatch the majority of the rats on our first visit, but will return regularly until your vermin problem is eliminated. Further visits can be agreed to keep the situation under control.

Health and Safety
N.R.C. have lots of experience with regards to health and safety on chicken and pig farms. All overalls are boil washed prior to entering buildings and rubber boots are all disinfected. Gloves and masks are worn at all times, and we never wear the same clothing going from one farm to the next.
Vermin Control using Airguns
We also provide a service where we use airguns with the latest night vision equipment and the latest thermal imaging technology.
It is generally more time consuming than using terriers but very effective in certain situations where needed.
Poison
We can and do use poison if needed to comply with regulations, but it is basically kept to a minimum as we are fully confident we do not need it.
